Open CinemaCC

Make the subtitle track you need.

CinemaCC plays the subtitles you choose. This open-source Agent Skill helps prepare them before the lights go down.

Prepare the subtitle file first

You choose the language. CinemaCC plays the SRT file you bring with you. The open-source Skill handles repair, translation and checks before import. Review the result, then add the finished file to CinemaCC.

The quickest way to start

Attach the SRT file and send this sentence to your agent.

Copy this to your agent

Install the CinemaCC Subtitle Skill from https://github.com/HaiyiMei/cinemacc-subtitle-skill and use it to repair, translate and validate the attached SRT. Before starting, confirm the source language, target language and output requirements with me.

How it works

  1. Start with an SRT file you have the right to use.
  2. Send the file and the prompt above to an agent that supports Skills.
  3. The agent handles dialogue and context. Deterministic scripts keep cue numbers, timestamps, tags and file structure intact.
  4. Review the result, then import one or two finished tracks into CinemaCC.

What the Skill does

  • If the source track has errors, it repairs them before translation.
  • When context affects the meaning, it researches the film, characters and recurring terms.
  • It does not change cue identity or timing unless you authorize the change and provide matching audiovisual evidence.
  • Simplified and Traditional Chinese are reviewed separately, not produced through character conversion alone.
  • Uncertain readings and QA exceptions are recorded for you to review.

Before you use it

  • The code is free and open source under the MIT License.
  • CinemaCC does not provide a model or translation service. Your agent or model provider may charge for use and has its own privacy terms.
  • The repository contains no commercial film or television subtitles.
  • You are responsible for the rights to use, translate or distribute the source and output files.
  • CinemaCC plays the subtitles. The Skill only prepares files before import.
